TANSA 探査 - PROCESS AND MAKING

Hand-dyed and woven ramie and nylon monofilament, embroidered with polyester thread, nylon monofilament and Lurex thread.

Inspired by flowers embroidered on an antique piece of kimono fabric from Kyoto, a motif seen throughout our travels and throughout time, whether embroidered by hand on fabric or as digital artwork, lighting and transforming space. This piece encapsulates the breadth of places we were privileged to visit and experience.
