LACEFinding inspiration from samples of lace, the aim of this project is to transform the appearance of traditionally made lace in to contemporary woven textiles, using unexpected processes. Manipulating each sample by hand on the loom to create spaces in the warp and weft, produce delicate samples that would then be layered between hot melt adhesive sheets. The encased weaving is transformed in to a more unconventional cloth to be used as a textile for fashion.
